Shahen is a well-regarded solicitor with experience in advising and representing a wide-range of clients from individual clients to international companies. Working with a team of experienced and skilled solicitors, Verde Lawyers has earned a reputation for providing detailed assessments of legal options for clients as well as realistic commercial opportunities and considerations.

Shahen is a Nationally Accredited Mediator, fully qualified and registered with the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS), the Australian Mediation Association and the Resolution Institute. He brings a natural talent for empathy and is skilled at listening impartially to all sides of a conflict to assist parties in reaching a positive solution. He helps parties resolve their issues in a quick and effective manner.

Shahen has established and maintained long-term relationships with his clients and is known for his personal approach and his strong commercial focus. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries, and the founder of Verde Lawyers and our associated firm City Notaries.

Shahen completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Technology Sydney, and has obtained a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide. He has been admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Shahen has been admitted to practice as Public Notary in New South Wales. He is also a member of the NSW Society of Notaries and The Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.

Shahen is fluent in Armenian and Persian (Farsi).
